Entourage Synchronizing from Desktop to Laptop

Hello,

We purchased Office X for Macintosh: The Missing Manual. I have found it to be very useful.

One objective I have in MS X Entourage is to synchronize our Entourage Calendar from the desktop to the laptop. Would you have any up-to-date information that can help me with this?

Sincerely,
Dave

The best way is to copy your Microsoft User Data folder (in your Home -> Documents folder) across. That will bring all your info, including calendar, email, and so on, to the laptop.

Of course, this can get to be a very big folder, which is why a high-speed connection like FireWire Disk Mode (described in Mac OS X: The Missing Manual) is a quick and tasty way to get the job done.

Hope this helps!

David
