Burning CDs and DVDs: Change Default?

From: Russell Chase
Date: March 2003

Regarding burning CDs and DVDs, Figure 10-3 on page 308 in Mac OS X: The Missing Manual, 2nd Edition: Can the "Make this action the default" action be cancelled or reversed?

I've enjoyed two editions of "Mac Secrets," various magazine articles over the years, and I read you on Thursdays in The New York Times' State of the Art column. Thanks for the excellent work on Mac OS X.

Sincerely,
Russ Chase

Hi Russ,

Excellent question. Yes, you can return to the "What do you want to happen when you insert a blank disc?" dialog box by opening System Preferences and then clicking the CDs & DVDs icon.

David
